Due to the rapid growth of Toastmasters in europe a new division has been created in 2011. October 29th is first opportunity to compete and to find our champions.These Fab Four will present divisíon "K" in Basel at the european contest. The best speakers of all clubs from Bonn north to the North Sea will be present..

Please sign in if you are coming. This will facilitate the organisation.
And we need a balanced contest team. We need your help to find the most brilliant speaker of our division. This is a appeal to the TMs not from Bonn and Cologne. Probably there will be an overweight of judges from these cities. This you can avoid by signing in as judge.

Toastmasters wächst und wächst. Deshalb wirde eine neue Division gestaltet. Am 29ten Oktober werden die besten Redner der Region gefunden.

"Debating as a workshop" - "Debattieren als Workshop"
English or Deutsch. Carsten will discuss it in advance to find the ultimate solution.. Das überlegt Carsten mit uns vor dem Workshop.

Debating requires quick thinking and skilful improvisation. Carsten introduces into the art of debating, into its tactics and strategy and enables you to take it back to your clubs. During the 45 minute session you will get involved in a debate on a current topic. You will get 2 things out of it. First you reflect on the structure of the debate so that you can better understand what is actually going on and second you will get a worksheet and the experience to take this format back to your clubs.

Debattieren erfordert schnelles Denken und meisterhafte Improvisation. Carsten führt ein in die Kunst der Debatte, in ihre Taktik und Strategie und ermöglicht es den Teilnehmern, dieses Erfahrung an den Club weiterzugeben. Während der 45 Minuten werden die Teilnehmer über ein aktuelles Thema debattieren. Und sie nehmen 2 Dinge mit. Erstens untersuchen sie die Struktur der Debatte, so das Ziele und Absichten durchschaut werden. Und zweitens erhalten sie ein Arbeitsblatt und die Erfahrung, um diesen Workshop selber in ihren Clubs durchzuführen.
